I find that Ibuprofen, both taken intablet form or applied to the area in the form of a gel work well. Also a drug called "voltarol", it can be bought in gel form, is very useful. However both can cause problems if you are ashmatic

The important thing about Ibuprofen gel or tablets is the OR. You shouldn't take both at the same time. Ibuleve (sp?) gel is excellent for rubbinginto bumps bruises and muscular pains
