bless you! I too face the diet demons and lose heart when the pounds and inches don't drop off -but stick with it, and all will be well - especially if you keep up the exercise regime. You will soon see the benefits.

And by the way - Good on you for giving up smoking! 5 months is excellent - well done!
as janineG has said, stick with it an eventually things will get better. It took me 2 years to get into the shape i am now but by god im glad i stuck with it.

Quite intresting how i lost my weight actually. As a 11 year old i weighed the same that i do know. I simply stabalised my weight at a constant 60-63 kg and thanks to the wonders of puberty i grew to 6ft and am now rather slim!!!

If you want advice on exercises on toning up i am more than happy to take u through a few excellent ones that were of great help to me.

Stomach and spare tyre. The fat dropped off my bum and legs!!
try leg raises.....lie flat on your back and place your hands behind your back. then raise your legs 90 degrees into the air and then slowly drop them so they are hovering a couple of inches off the floor and then raise your legs to 90 degrees once more...repeat as many times as you can.
