Non tax payers?
hold on im not 30 yet :)
Good for you Bob! You're living the dream!!!x
Bob...I swear to god ..I thought u were in your 50s or 60s when I came on this site several months ago......you must have old aged pensioner pixels
Bob is like the mileometer in his old Cortina, he's been round the clock a few times
yep if i aint seen it it isnt worth seeing :)
On the non-tax payers thing. EVERYONE pays taxes. I heard 45% of our income goes in taxes of one sort or another.
Dan are you going to start a debate about taxes with Bob? i have a holiday booked in June and I can't hang around you know.
Yeah I had 10 things
1. Become rich
2. Go into politics
3. Get married
4. Have a large family
5. Own a boat
6. Write my book
7. Ethically property develop
8. Travel extensively
9.Buy one particular house
10. Is a secret :)

Of those I acheived 1, 3 and 4 by the time I was 30, although I married the wrong woman.

By the time I hit 40, I managed 1, 3 (married the right woman second time),4,5 and 7, the rest now being unattainable except for finishing the book, which I will do eventually.
I did but I changed it to ....By the time I was 40
1, Get a job that pays well
2, Buy a house in the countryside
3,Stop going out on the p!ss every weekend
4,Win the lottery
I`ve done 1,2 and 3 and sort of done 4, but only 4 numbers
I always used to write targets etc fun ones, but it only leads to dissapointment when you realise you can't do half of the things you planned.
We have a list of things we want to do and agreed to do at least one a year. This year we did the helicopter ride, last year we went paragliding and jet-skiing.Next year - who knows!!
Counsellor I'm 30 next September too and feel the exact same way. Even though I know I've achieved a lot since I was 18 sometimes I think 'what have I actually done'. I think a lot of it's to do with my pre conceived ideas about what I should have done by the time I was 30, e.g. get married, have kids, have lots of money, that I haven't.

I'm now trying to accept that I still have lots of time and trying to concentrate on improving my life in other ways e.g. being healthy, having fun.
Oooh, lovely Nox, do you need a property lawyer with development experience ;)

Well out of your list I've done...erm none. I suppose the general ones are...

1. Qualify as a solicitor - yep.

2. Get my city centre apartment - rented but yep.

3. Work in central London - yep.

4. Do a job I love and I'm happy in - yep.

5. Go to New York - in the pipeline.

6. Do the Pacific Coast Highway - done SanFranciso & LA and other bits but not the whole lot in one trip.

7. Write a book - saving that one for later life.

8. Swim with dolphins - not yet.

9. Go skydiving/wingwalking - not yet - my ex said he'll take me skydiving though :)

10. Fly a plane - yep can do some cracking aerobatics!

11. Go back to Romania to do some more voluntary work with children - only been the once so far.

12. Run my own business - not yet.

13. Buy a place with some land I can have my own horse and lots of animals and rescue some - not yet.

14. Run the London Marathon and raise a load of money for charity - went to see it but not got round to be able to run it yet!

15. Have lots of secret ones for my ears only haha.

Jenna , the new york thing!

its not something i want to do its a NEED! i so need to go next year for my 30th! a lovely girlie weekend no kids or husbands and lots of shopping!
Where's your apartment Jenna, area wise? My wife has a flat at the top of Covent Garden and I have a house in Hampstead and another in Highgate that are actually ours and not rented out. I used to love her flat when I first came to London, stones throw of Oxford St and everything going on. I love Central London.
