A guy at work I like has asked me out to lunch, going in 20 mins, how can I stop myself from looking too much into a situation.

Well I think that if you manage to avoid telling him that spring weddings are your favorites and dribbling at engagement rings in shop windows your half way there ;-)

Why should you look too much into it? It's just lunch.....take your cue from how he bahaves....if he's joky, respond the same way.

You could use that to break the ice if you start to feel uncomfortable.
I wouldn't worry too much about it, its only lunch. Panic when he asks you out to dinner.

Hey - Im back!
Phew..that was....great. I cant help going all doe-eyed when he is talking to me, he has this great voice too (sigh).

Well he did pay! and when we got back to work he said "thanks for brightening my lunch hour" - I shall hold onto that sentence for the next week analysing it insatiably.
