It's called tinitus and it usually calms down after a day or so. it's just a warning to say that you have slightly deteriorated the filiments in your ear. It should be fine but not wise to get it to often.
It shouldn't last too long hun!! What concert was it???

New York Dolls...I was the youngest there!!!!! They were fab!

Well, with a mild hangover I didn't 'get' it for a while and then only grimaced. Still, 3 *s for enjoying the NY Dolls. He IS weird and soooooooo thin. Great show though! Still deaf though. urgh.
Hmmm, you havent still got headphones on with their music playing have you suzy?
I have read that the longer the 'ringing' lasts, the more damage you have done to your hearing.

eeeek! I'm still deaf and have suffered real problems with my ears. Worst still is I'm going to another gig in 48 hours.
My brother used to go and see Slade way back when and his ears used to buzz for about 2 days afterwards.
Your ears aren't gonna know whats hit em when you go and do it all again in 48 hours. Who is it this time?

The last time I saw Motorhead, my ears were ringing for 3 days afterwards! It was horrible. Good concert though!x

how did you get it? My husband's grandmother had it. Awful. She had a pan of boiling water spilt down her ear as a child. Terrible.
