Does anyone know if malignant breast lumps feel different to benign ones in any way? (P.S I don't have a breast lump but was curious after a conversation in the office today!)

When my gp felt it she said it felt like mastitis as my breasts were sore to the touch. I needed a mammogram and a biopsy (aspiration) which determined I had a Fibroadenoma, a benign mass of gristle thank God! Always see your gp for any breast issue's Madgirl. Daisy.
