Ex-Boxes...

Do any of you keep an 'X-Box'?
'Treasures' from past relationships? If so, what do you keep? Anything unusual?
Do you get rid when someone new comes along or do you hold on to your keep-sakes no matter what?

I still have everything that my ex gave me in a couple of boxes. Mind you we did only split up a month ago!! I don't really know what to do with them so for now they will stay put. And all his photos are tucked away in a drawer, dunno what to do with them either.
I do know however that I'm certainly keeping the signed poster of Johnny Depp that he bought me a couple of years ago!!! that's going nowhere!!!

well i still have my wedding photo up in my flat, even though we seperated 5 years ago. I also have pics of me and another boyfriend on display as hes a good friend.
I have a box at my ex husbands house which contains memories really. This does include a lot of things related to exes, valentine cards etc.
I'll keep hold of them forever i suppose.

I still have old love letters/notes from all my relationships. Read them all last year when I moved house - I got such a kick out of them that I hadn't the heart to throw them out. I'm holding on to them so I can have a laugh again in years to come. I've also opened a file on my computer to note all the romantic texts I get from my current love - they're handy to have when he's driving me 'round the bend 'cos they remind me how fundamentally our relationship is great!
I get rid of everything (unless it holds comedy value - iffy fashion, a fun day out REGARDLESS of the cr@ppy company etc) as i find it terribly cathartic.
I'm one for 'new starts'. But i do try NEVER to regret anything.
I love who i am now - and if i hadn't had some RIGHT DODGY (said in best Essex Girl accent) relationships, i wouldn't be who i am now!
Re your comment yesterday, WS, have a damn good wallow in the self-pity for as long as it takes. AND DON'T BEAT YOURSELF UP OVER IT.
You're young and probably just as gorgeous as w-o-w (jealous? me?) so you have a very promising future ahead of you!

I have an ex box for my first wife to remind me what an utter c0w she was in case I ever somehow manage to forget ( not very likely), and another ex-box for an ex girlfriend of mine whose little boy we have, partly for him and partly for me. She was a good artist and we also have her paintings and sketches up in our houses, (my brill wife's idea actually), so yeah but both for very different reasons to each other.
