Siblings?

Just thinking on the way home last night, after the 'living daylights' question, on a lighter note who stood behind their parents when a sibling was getting reprimanded and pointed and laughed, come on, own up.

My little brother Micheal latched onto the fact that I could be blamed for anything and used to point the finger at me on a regular basis so my Dad had a go at me. T his in turn would result in my elder sister Roisin belting the bejasus out of him for getting me belted when Dad had gone out. lol
Dysfunction all round...lol.

ummmm, yep that was my mum to, and did she smack you once for every word she said. Am sure my mum made her sentences longer just to smack us more!!! Think Billy Connolly once touched on this and he was spot on.
'If (smack) I (smack) have (smack) told (smack) you (smack) once (smack) I (smack) have (smack)' and so it goes!

(really mature for my 23 years aren't I)
Other than that, we used to stick up for each other cos out of the thee of us our parents were usually telling off the wrong one!!

Yer he did redcrx, remember the bottle of baileys found empty outside the bathroom window and mum said if no-one owns up then we couldnt go to youth club, so bro told lil sis that if she said it was her hed get her a toffee crisp at youth club. So she owned up and mum was so annoyed none of us got to go.
I remember the 'stand still while I wallop you dance' ~ it was usually accompanied by the no no no song, with siblings harmonies of laughing and a bass line of 'give him another one mum that one missed'.
My youngest sister could always get away with everything while my older brother adopted a guerrilla style, deflect the blame, tactic by always saying 'it was him' before anyone had a chance to argue the point. As it usually was me it worked every time.

Any one ever get told (usually after you'd been smacked and are yelling your head off, with the tears and snot racing each other for first place on your chin) stop that noise or I'll give you something to cry about.
WTF? I'm crying because you gave me something to cry about in the first place!
You then sort of bubble up, trying to keep your mouth shut so the noise stops, but as you are crying it bursts out in a sort of bub bub bub sound
