does anyone have any solutions to stop my poor labrador slipping on our wooden floor? My poor dog slippped a few months ago and has now become a shadow of his former self. He keeps himself on his bed in the kitchen and I am having to literally drag him out for a walk! The floor has been down for over 2 years and never given him a problem before. I have tried putting mats down for him, but he is still petrified. Any advice would be welcome. I certainly don't want to re-carpet the house!

nikki - Try putting one of the mats in his bed as well as plenty around the house so he can get his confidence back.
You can get doggy boots with grippper soles, they come in different sizes, toy, minature, terrier, hound and big dog, available on ebay.
