Glued head

Hi I went to hospital last night to have a cut in my head glued after some idiot threw a bottle at my head outside a club (not on purpose, no-one knows where it came from). Anyway I was wondering when I can wash my hair. I'm sure the nurse said I can any time but to just be careful although it's a bit of a blur. My friend however said he had to wait a few days to wash. I'm a bit worried to mess around with it too much at the mo. I really want to wash the blood out of my hair properly. I'm blonde and it's not a good look!

I would of thought its like a "superglue" they use, hope your head is ok now x

Can you get someone else to do it for you and tell them to avoid the glued bit?

Thanks for the quick reply! Yeh I think I'll do that tomorrow. I'm pretty sure the nurse said it's ok to wash but I'd better double check.

My head feels fine at the moment thanks. It's a bit of a mess but feels ok. My arm aches more from the tetanus jab they gave me! x

Hi, i cut my head over by falling when i was younger and they glued my head, as far as im aware you have to wait a day or 2 before you can wash it.. although i think you could wash it with just water after a day best to double check though.

my son cracked his head open about a month ago they say leave it mimimum of 5 days. just becareful. the nyrse that did my sons also glued some of his hair aswell he now has a patch of missing hair next to his scar.

Hi. Thanks for all the suggestions! My head's feeling better today thanks sophie. I've washed my hair and it all seems ok! There seems to be a little bit of glue or something matted but nothing too bad.
