Desision Making

Morning All,

I have a decisions I need to make along the lines of my location, job etc... but I have always been terrible at making plans (I find it irrationally irritating when people ask me what my plans are) and am also very indescisive. I have always been a chancer and prone to bouts of flightiness but I recognise that plans and decisions do need to be made so I'd be really interested to know how people go about this.

Do you make lists? Spur of the moment? Bumble along until you find yourself 40 years older than when you started?

I tend to make lists for important decisions.. Fors and Againsts.. Having said that the best decision I ever made was on the spur of the moment and that was moving 300 miles from home to be with my boyfriend.. I havent looked back since!

Bagpuss - Tried writing lists, confused myself even more and ended up doing doodles in the corner! I'll try again.

Hmmm, i always have plans. I never stick to them, but i always have them. Basically, always plan to do something, but dont bank on doing it. If that makes any sense. Like this weekend, i am planning to go out, but i dont go round making sure everything is in place and everyone is still going out, etc. I just see what happens. if someone is going out then fine, if not, then its ok. Obviously it depends on the individual and commitments and the plan itself. But i say, just make rough plans but prepare for change as many people these days dont stick to them...If all that makes any sense :)

Hello China,

I make very rash decisions with regard to work, my shortest time in a job was 5 minutes and I walked out,I never give a job a proper chance, So being self employed suits me great,but in life generally I am very laid back and easy going. no way I could make a list. do what you fancy,when you fancy,

Had to laugh, I could have written that question!

I do make lists but then totally ignore them and do my own thing anyway, I would not necessarily recommended this course of action!!!
