Flu Jab side effects

has anyone had any side effects from the flu jab??

i had a flu jab this morning and im feelin a bit achy, dizzy, sick and headachy. also have a sore arm.
Im 20.

Side-effects stipulated by the vaccine manufacturers include a sore arm at the site of injection, headache, fatigue, sweating, a slight temperature, pins and needles, shivering and aching muscles.

The good news is all side effects have gone within 48 hours, usually by next day.

You'll be fit as a fiddle soon.

We have been offered the flu jab at work...not for our benefit but for theirs as they reckon it will cut the number of days off with flu...So I won`t be having it as it`ll cost me one of my excuses for 3 days off a few times a year, and they haven`t said anything about any side affects

Man Flu is ten times worse than your normal flu so a jab won`t make much difference ;o)

hits some people that way - in effect you're getting a very minor bout of flu. I had a jab yesterday with no side effects, so it doesn't happen to everyone (touch wood), but Ethel's right, it should go quickly

I had one last week and had a sore arm for 2 days and that was it. Felt tired too but maybe thats just me and nothing to do with the jab Im always tired these days!

I had a flu jab in left arm and pneumonia jab in right arm.Two days later I was in agony with right arm and could barely lift it for three days but no effect in left arm or any flu symptons. I am pleased pneumonia jab is for life.!!!

jno - just to clear up - you don't get a minor bout of flu after having the jab - the virus is inactivated so you cannot catch the flu from it. Symptoms are more likely to be due to sensitibity to the components of the vaccine.

i got my jab on tuesday and i still feel my arm sore.

i was fine after it but when i woke in the morning i had the symptoms of the flu, feeling weak and sore face muscles, etc but after about 3 hours I was fine
