What you are trying to say is you had unprotected sex, now you think you could be pregnant, why did you not get yourself to the docs for the morning after pill? You are going to have to wait and see now, stress can delay a period, but you can also bleed (albeit scantily) if you are pregnant.
I think we can safely say that after 3 and a half weeks you're well out of the 72 hour window where the morning after pill could have worked!
It's probably down to worry - mines always late when I'm worrying about something.
There is a pregnancy test that can detect early pregnancy (first response?) so maybe try one of those - if not go to the doctors just to put your mind at rest.

Worrying about it will delay you period hon so try and relax.
Pregnancy tests can give a false negative but not a false positive.
As for Roughquests question about the morning after pill, don't know about your doctor but now that the morning after pill can be bought mine are reluctant to give you an appointment for it. And I don't know about anyone else but I don't often have a spare 25 to hand out for them over the counter.

I would repeat the test - some will gie you the correct result from day 1 of a missed period but not all of them - the symptoms of pregnancy are similar to premenstrual symptoms.
Also although the morning after pill is upto 72hrs its effective up to 5 days. The coil can be used as emergency contraception in the 1st 5 days and most people will fit it up to day 21 - its more effective than the pill method but not as available!
