advice to a friend

I have a very good female friend aged 35 at work, as an old man of 55 i want to help her but dont know how.She has just discovered her partner of 8 years has been cheating on her and she is devastated, what can i say or do to help her , its upsetting for me as well , because she has been such a good friend to me and has been there for me when i have had troubles, i hate to see her like this, thanks.

just listen to her. But remember at a time like this she is vulnerable and be watchful that the relationship stays platonic - last thing she needs is a rebound relationship.
