How can I cure a stye

drink ALOT of water, get extra sleep, this isnt going to cure the immediate itchy nastiness but its the quickest way to get cure the stye as a whole, needs another answerbanker to come up with immediate relief in the meantime... :-)

Strangely enough, I found I had a stye this morning, and looked up cures for it. They seem to recommend a hot compress for about 10 minutes 4 times a day. I only wish it was a cold compress in this heat! Hope that helps.

I know that this is a bit of an old wives tale, but I always rub the stye with a gold(wedding) ring. I can't remember if it actually works but my granny swore by it.

nice one, amnesia, i discovered by chance, several years ago, that i can cure eye itch with a gold ring. Nice to know i'm not a freak and it works for others. good luck with stye andygeog, go for gold :-)
