I was recently advised to take Glucosimine tabs to ease joint pain (I am 49), but after taking them for a few days my stomach became absolutely huge. I looked about 7 months pregnant. I don't think I put any weight on, just filled up. I wondered if anyone else had suffered the same thing. Is it temporary, should I continue taking the tabs? I already take cod liver oil tabs but these are not enough. Any advice will be gratefully received.

Thanks.
Julie.

It could be that it's a new thing to you and needs to get into your system. But of course what suits one doesn't suit another.
I would persevere for a little while but if you continue like this stop them and see how you feel then .Make sure you drink down plenty of water with them ..Good luck
I take them too and dont have any problems.......I do suffer from bloated tummy but been taken tabs for a year and a half and the bloated was a few months ago and lasted a few months but stopped after i stopped having bread!
