I know it sounds odd, but go to a beauty salon and have them dyed. I find apart from colouring them it also bulks them out a bit more. Go for blue black - sounds horrendous but is actually just the darkest tint there is. The added bonus is that you can be makeup free and still look fab! I swear by doing this regularly and by mixing in fake tan with my evening moisturiser. No need for mascara and foundation during the day now!
Another thing you could try is the new type of fake lashes where instead of a line of them you put single ones on at a time where you need them My aunt loves them, and they are easier to do and far more natural looking.
Applying vaseline to your lashes every night is supposed to thicken them up and make them stronger. x
it has nothing to do with not taking your makeup off - it may well be hormonal - is it thinning anywere else?

thanks 4 the suggestions, im gonna defo try the vaseline and dye tricks cos they sound good...i want lovely full lashes (like every woman i guess)..

joko..when i take my make up off...the mascaras v.waterproof and so dried on the morning after..i try to be gentle..but lashes come off on the pad, despite using a good eye remover it happens..i know its not hormonal cos i have a thick hair and it doesnt lose much...too many late nights and laziness is my prob.
dotty - Think maybe you should just stick to non waterproof mascara's, think this is what is making your eyelash'es to thin ( making them weak & easily pulled out ) Also, apply a light wipe of olive oil before you go to bed & wash off the next morning!
ahh, i see, you are pulling them out when you remove makeup...i thought you thought the makeup was damaging your follicles or something.

you could sit with a cotton wool pad soaked in the remover over your eyes for a few minutes to sink in - sort of like soaking the pans before washing up
Talika do an eyelash gel - try their site www.talika.com, which will lengthen and thicken them over time. I've been using it for years and have definitely seen a difference.

Apply it twice a day (you can wear it under mascara) and it will condition them and make them stronger too
