synchronized electromagnetic vibrations being picked up by the body

Please help. I have been picking up synchronized vibrations in my left foot for about 3 days. This is ongoing and is still there even when I wake up. I get them in 4 second increments and will increase in a generated pattern for a bit then go back to 4 second increments again. Anyone ever heard about something like this or am I destined for the happy shack??? Thanks in advance for your answers.

I still get this occasionally and have been for the last few days. I have put it down to being related to my exsisting back problem...spoke to the doctor and he didn't say either way. Do you have any spinal problems...I would be really interested to know.

Thanks for answering. I have never had any physical problems other than the normal viruses from time to time. I have to say I'm relieved to hear someone else is experiencing this also. At least I know I'm not crazy now but how weird that both of us should be experiencing almost identical symptoms, huh?? I had an incident back in 2001 after 9/11 happened where I was hearing radio frequencies in a morse code type. You wouldn't have happened to have anything like that happen also?? I wear a radio on my hip everyday and thought at first it could be that but don't know why it would start now after so many years. Do you sport a radio or in contact with one on a daily basis? Thanks again for answering. Maybe together we'll be able to find an answer for us both.

erm...haven't heard the morse code...as yet....lol. It really is the most bizarre sensation though.... and if you're are destined for the happy farm....at least we'll have some company!

LOL!! Well let's hope you don't hear anything. I thought I was going to the dogs but thankfully that stopped after a couple of days and haven't had it since. I am curious to know what your dr. might have said about the vibrations? Did he have any ideas what could possibly be causing this? And you said you had it for a while and then it stopped and started again a few days ago? Is that correct?

I've no idea what it could be I'm afraid, but I just wanted to point out that the human skeleton acts as an excellent conductor of all things electrical. Some people more so than others.

That could be a starting point for you to explore further?

at risk of frightening you badly, but there could be something wrong in your brain that is causing you these sensations. maybe similar to precursors to epileptic fits. im no doctor and have no knowledge about this but you really should get it checked.

Thanks for the compliment Champagne and Mandimoo and Adar, thanks for your concern also. I have posed this question to a Dr and he is currently researching. I think it's a great idea to post this on the science board since there is someone else other than I who is experiencing this. Does anyone know how I am supposed to do this or can I pose the same question? I'm sure there has to be some logic to this. Thanks again for all your answers.
