Yes I'm chopstick fluent Wardy, what are you doing wrong, it's honestly quite easy? If I can manage I'm sure anyone can.
i can use them easily, though i hold them a little bit differently, but it looks the same
I'm quite good with chop sticks really ... even enjoy using them .... well 'till I reach the last few bits of rice that is ... then frustration sets in.
Most Chinese food is not suited to knives, forks and spoons as the metal can give off a different flavour due to the ingredients used. Practice at home, then when you dine out you will be proficient and confident!!
Nope! I usually sneak those little plastic picnic knives and forks in with me I'm ashamed to admit!
I can use chopsticks but I can't do that background colour thing that RB has done!!! :-(

My son and nephews have the Rookie Stix I think you can get them in John Lewis
I find them quite easy to use and actually prefer them to a knife and fork.
