I've smoked Richmond for about 6 years as my local started selling them behind the bar for some unexplained reason (none of the staff smoked them!) so rather than braving the cold walk to the shop or being charged way over the odds by a cigarette machine, I started smoking the 'discount' bar fags and have never managed to wean myself off them. Never mind eh!! They do have a certain reputation for being cheap and nasty but I don't mind them at all and find them preferable to the rancid tasting Marlboro Light brand which to my mind should come with a free t-shirt emblazoned with a 'I Don't Care What My Mum Says' slogan
Theres nothing wrong with a good rollie and obviously cheaper the better! All I simply have against Marlboro lights is that I think they taste appalling and am unable ti understand why they are so popular given that they are a relatively expensive brand when there are cheaper, better tasting brands out there
i smoke samson and liqorice papers, and hamlet aromatic cigars
i used to work for a real lady, the first time i met her was to discuss menus, any being a little i was lead into an large dining roon, with a massive table for 30 people, she asked if i smoked, where i apologised and replied that i only smoked rollies, great she said and pulled hers, she was an old art student, so we sat smoking rollies in the massive room, got on well ever since
I am another weak one! Now i wonder.. does anybody else smoke silk cut SLIMS? I came across them in Greece in 2000 while i was working out there for the summer but on my return, found nobody knew what I was talking about. I wrote to silk cut who said the demand was not high enough in England. However, one of my local shops started to sell them about 2 years ago. I find them very difficult to come across. Anyone else seen them?
RB I have a Rizla tin that I roll 'em in, never have got the hang of hand rolling 'em, so thankfully they come out standard ciggy sized with tips as well- so luckily they don't look as bad as 'spitty' rollies you see old men smoking :-)
