What is the best way of getting someone to tell you the truth about something they would never ever normally admit? This person has never told the truth until the possible second! It of course has to be in a non violent method.

You could try convincing this person that you know more than you really do. If they think you know about this 'thing' already they may spill some more info on it. It's worked for me in the past but I guess it all depends on the situation.

Make out you think it's something much worse and hopefullly they'll confess to reassure you or make themselves look better.

the problm is, its a 30 yr old man who I lived with that slept with my cousin. he was 25 and she was 15 at the time, and yeah you probably guessed it. Its my ex, father of my children etc etc..... I am almost certain he wont ever say "yeah, I did". He wouldn't admit he cheated on me, a couple of years ago when I went to V but I know he did, so this seems highly unlikely.

cant you say that your cousin admitted it to you and has told you everything so then you could take it along the lines of asking why? instead of did you? in for a penny ..... though dont know where you stand with your cousin or your ex?!!
