But i dont give them sweet treats too often, so i think they drank it for the fact it was a sweet treat, even tho it was foul!!
I am a bit anxious about their health anyway, so its just freaking me that they could get food poisoning, and just wanted other peeps opinions as to what they would do, x thanks x

Hi x well... like i said, a treat, i am a very health concious mum, and treat them once a week.. no sweets or crap other than one sweet chosen on a sat. They chose a milkshake. Unlike most parents that give thier kids **** every day!!!!! (mine get melons and strawberrys!)
And they are up late, went bed at 10pm, as we have family visiting, whom we see twice a year.
SO.... yes i prob do worry too much, but i do value other parents advice, as no kids come with instructions!! I wish i could chill a little, unfortunately thats not my nature, hence the fruit insted of sweets, crisps etc.. Healthy diet etc..
ANYWAY, back to the prob in hand, My 3 yr old has tummy probs, in the fact that she has vomited blood twice in the past yr, so i do worry it will happen again, they have never had food poisoning. probably as they dont eat crap foods!!
unlike myself, who just enjoyed a fab kebab!! yummy!
well... i am armed with a bottle of evian water for them. and bowls... AND I WILL NO LONGER ALLOW MY KIDS TO HAVE SHOP BOUGHT TREATS! Think i will bake my own cakes for the insted! So thanks in advance for any HELPFUL advice x sheri xx

Awww sheri, bless you :-)
I know it's easier said than done, but really- try to relax a bit with them. Kids do and will get into all sorts of scrapes and scares which quite frankly scare the crap out of you from time to time. But as long as if they are brought up by loving parents, of which you sound exactly like one, they'll be fine.
Take care

Please dont judge me too harshly, i am a very good mum!! and yes i may seem over anxious, but i have lost every single person i have ever loved in my life, except my gorgeous hubby!! Through health probs which lead to their unexpected deaths, i am scared my kids will come to harm, i cant go to sleep now, i am sitting in mystudy and will stay awake most of the night to make sure they r ok. x
Yes i prob sound insane, but trust me im not!! Just a young mum (26) looking out for her babies, and im damn sure i aint shoppin in morrisons no more too!! xx

Thanks for your honest answers sheri and aologies for my previous answer - Saturday night wine etc! My kids are now 27, 25 and 23 and are all fine. Yes, they ate rubbish at times but at meal times we all had the same even if they didn/t always eat it.
Anyway, chill out get some sleep and I'm sure everything will ne OK in the morning. As long as they are eating a balanced diet then a choco milk shake will do no harm.
Sorry, just read the above and it sounds really patronising. Not meant to be that so I hope you will understand. Off to bed now. Good luck.

Sheribee dont take anything to heart. You know you are a good mum and that is all that matters. There are many kids who deserves a mother like you but dont have one. Kids are very resilient - if they get sick they will bounce back. But you will probably spend all your time worrying and they wont be effected at all. I too am a worrier - I was I wasnt but I cant help it - so I know how you must be feeling. They will be fine you'll see.
Sheribee, just a little something for you to chew on. My friends mum was a weight watchers representative and very much like you she didnt want her kids eating junk. She encouraged them to eat fruit, total ban on processed food etc etc There was no sweets allowed. By the time my friend was 15 she was a size 32. She used to eat all the banned food in secret cause it was soo forbidden.
