It will definitely help with your coldsores it boosts your immune system and helps with your digestive system too.

Just got some @ lunch time from Holland & Barrett... buy one get one free! :-) Got the Cranberry flavour as I assumed it would taste horrible, but it's actually not bad! Fingers crossed it'll boost my immune system & help with the coldsore outbreak... just wondered what other benefits I can expect, as I now have two hefty bottles of the stuff!!

I dont want to sound too negative, but I would be very sceptical about the beneficial health claims made for aloe vera if I were you.

Whilst its benefits as a topical cream for a variety of conditions have been quite widely accepted, its benefits for internal health conditions is contentious at best.

There have been no properly conducted trials for any clinical condition to date.

It has been shown to be somewhat effective as an aid for treating cancers for pets, but it is not licenced for human use.

An OTC preparation is unlikely to do you any harm... but I would be highly dubious as to its benefits.
