Why is it that having a bath seems to stop the bleeding for a while? Me & my friends were talking about it today and wondered why it happens. Anyone got any idea?

Ive never noticed to be honest, perhaps its something to do with muscles contracting or the fact that you are lying in a bath rather than stood up or moving around.

Well we were saying today that the bleeding seems to stop for as much as up to 2 hours after getting out of the bath.

Isn't it strange the conversations you find yourself having over lunch?!
i disagree as mine doesnt stop after a bath.

I know it doesn't happen to everyone but out of the group of 14 women I was speaking to, it happens to 6 of us! We were just curious as to why it happened to some and not others and the cause of it.
im the same as badgerchops mine doesnt stop.wish it did though
Maybe its coz you are more relaxed
If Icut myself shaving in the bath it never seems to start bleeding until I get out. It is weird!
i find that sometimes ill go to bed having been quite heavy all day and then when i get up in the morning ive hardly bled at all...possibly to do with the lying down in a bath/bed?
