without drunks or weirdo's around. I always assumed it was usually the night time when they would be about.. However this morning on my way to work at 6:45am, i was walking up a sort of main street in town with lots of B&B's and the like on it & Hotels.. i was about to wait at the bus station when i started to hear banging (bear in mind it was dark, and i was the only one out on that street) like someone banging on a window really loudly so i just ignored it and walked faster, but it kept going then i heard a man shout 'excuse me' so i turned round & didn't see anyone so i just shouted 'what' in return, and i heard the man shout back 'can i have your number', so i just shouted 'no' and walked quickly off not waiting for the bus.
It upset me because im an 18 year old girl, and it was dark, and i got scared incase whoever it was started to follow me since there wasn't anybody else around.
Who would be looking out of their window at that time anyways?
does anybody else hate the fact that it seems whatever time of day it is there's always weird people about?!

well, it's the Saturday morning after a Friday night before Christmas, so you might get a few more than usual at this time of year. Not nice, though.
There is 24 hour drinking in a lot of pubs and clubs now so they roll out of them at all hours of the day and night.

I can understand how you felt scared though there is always something happening in the news, Is there any way you could meet up with a work colleague and share the journey into work?

Well this was after i'd stayed at my boyfriends, usually when im at home i get the bus in which takes about 15 mins because i live in a different town, and my mum gives me a lift to the bus station.
So if i stay at my boyfriends i'll either walk, wait for a bus, or if my friend is in at 7am too then i can get a lift, but it was just unfortunate this time that she wasn't in at 7am.
Hmmm, missjef , you should be flattered that your that goodlooking. A lot of girls would love to be asked for her number or banged on the window at. I dont think they are all weirdo's. How come you shouted 'what' when there was nobody about anyway? Maybe a guy will write on here and say some weirdo girl was shouting to herself in the street...

i shouted 'what' back because i heard someone shout 'excuse me' thats why, i couldnt see anyone though but i think it was someone in a flat behind the bus stop.
nothing flattering about having men shout at you. Never give your number to someone like that. Your instincts were dead right: have nothing to do with them.

when i told my boyfriend he thinks he knows who it might be, because he said when he was walking to work at 5am he noticed a guy in some flats behind the bus stop just staring out of the window at him!! which i think is a bit weird!
