Yes Simon Cowell knows that when he picked it. He wanted Leona to win and It may be a fix. Thats what the papers have stated anyway.

Plus Kelly Clarkson sang it from American Idol, and Cowell was involved with that.

Well, I grew up with a father who was a professional singer / actor and one of the greatest of his time. He was a baritone / tenor and taught me a lot about vocal qualities. Ray is a lovely young lad, but he doesn't have the quality or the voice control Leona has and these are what make her the worthy winner of X-Factor 2006. She also wins hands down in the looks department! So, well done to both of them and a special congratulations to Leona! Now comes the hard part ...

Yes, Leona's got a great voice, pity she's had a personality by-pass! She'd be good as a recording artist but I can't see her taking command of a stage for an hour or so in a concert.
