have you noticed that if you go into other sections of the AB (not the sub-sections tho!!) there will be a question waiting for an answer, you take your time to answer this question in your best interest and they never thank you, either with stars or just a simple "Ta"???

Hi ruge, i dont like it when i answer a question where someone for example, wants to know who someone is or where they have seen them and they dont tell you if its right. I went to a lot of trouble a while ago to find out about an actor they knew from "something" and they never even said if it was the one they had been thinking of. annoying.
I must admit, i do like stars! just polite really if someone has taken the trouble to answer you.

I find that too, I go to a lot of effort trying to give people answers, be it a quick on or a more lengthy one with all kinds of advice and find on the subsections there's often no response.

I never look for thanks but it's lovely when someone acknowledges you've taken the time to help them.

I always try to say thank you if someone has helped me out on a question, But it does get on my nerves when in the other sections people don't bother to acknowledge the time you have taken to help. You are right to rant RB.
