Westeners Travelling Attire

How come when westeners come to South East Asia they lose all their dress scence. Every one over here is wearing the same stupid clown outfit. It looks like this - Extra baggy cotton trousers in a stupid bright colour, A tie die smock, Dread locks (on white people!!!) and a stupid kind of handbag type thing with shells on it (this is the men!!) and some stuipd cheap shell necklass. I can't figure it out as its not as though they are trying to fit in with the locals as they wouldn't be seen dead in it!!

It's a disease, known as: Leavingbrainsinairportitus. The main symptoms are believing that you are an adoptive native of the country you visit and then somehow misinterpreting the dress code to the extent that you look like a total tw@t! Very common in the far east although sufferers can also be seen in the Pacfic Islands and parts of Australia.

its not just limited to there though. My sister lives in florida and she always says she can tell the english people by their red faces and football tops

when in the gulf me mate bought one of the kaftan, type thingies that the local wear as it was cool, but all the locals were laughing at him, a few days later he found out he was wearing a "night time" version, just like walking around in your pyjamas
