Morning all!!

Anyone's bosses been nice yet today?? We have to be out of our building by 2.15pm but boss just said we can go at 12.30 :-) Woooooooo!!! Straight to the pub it will be for merry christmas drinks!!!

Anyone else getting off earlier than expected??!! xx

On monday my boyfriend gave all his staff a list of work that had to be done by 3pm today and then they could have their xmas hols. They complained that there wasnt enough time to do it and he said that once it was all done they could leave.
Surprise surprise they had it all done by 4pm yesterday and have now got today off work.
Im working til 5 by the look of it but Im working from home today so not too concerned.

Well I was told last week that we usually finish by lunchtime. Have just walked in the office today and it's only me and the Director here! He said, "We won't be working late today Christine, we'll leave by 2."

Hahahaha! And there was me expecting to be outta here by 1!!

No matter, I'm off for a sunbed this afternoon then meeting a friend for drinks at 4pm. So it's all good. Plus I'm not back to work until 16th January. YEAY!!

Finishing at lunchtime - although I've not got much to do. Back on 3rd offically. Gonna have to pop in a couple of times over break to keep machinery ticking over. I live closest, so i get to do it :-(

I am the nice boss. I'm back on 27th to cover everyone elses leave.

I am rather hoping to leave early. Little to much christmas cheer and spirit last night. Alledgedly I'm doing it all again tonight.

ugly_bob, we have to do the same over xmas, turn machines on a few times to save having to spend a day purging them when we return. Luckily the boss is the nearest so he has to do it. Looks like he'll also be working a few days over xmas lol.
Im not back until the 5th wahay!!!!

Aww Nat you poor thing! You never know, my boss has surprised us all!! We have some wine left from our christmas drinks the other day and when we suggested opening them at 12 she said absolutely!!
She definately got out the right side of the bed this morning!!

well, the choice was, pay �500 to flush the printer today, or pop in a couple of times over the break and run it a bit to stop the heads drying out. I'll get paid overtime for it. Won't take me long, and works out cheaper for the company.

I'll probably just pop in Tues or Weds and Fri or Sat

Got another christmas p1ss up tonight - just with a load of mates I haven't seen for ages this time :-) Just have to make sure I don't srink so much (or maybe any) red wine this time. It doesn't agree with me, but t'was the only option at the time at wotk do :-(

Working till 5.30 tonight. Then back on 27th, 28th 29th and so on. only have xmas day and boxing day off... and i'm not even the boss !!

The boss is off until 6 jan or something !

Sorry China - Red wine always makes me throw up. Yet, because it was the choice of red, or wait 5 minutes for white, I decided to drink red. More than one too. And lo and behold, later that evening, I was unwell.
Honestly nothing to do with the fact that whenever I drink red wine, I've had shedloads of other stuff too.

Mind you, on the plus side... I suddenly don't feel so bad and look like quite a hardened drinker as opposed to my normal lightweight self....am I helping yet? What do you mean 'no'?! Some people are so b100dy rude...

lol, I swear it's only the red wine that does it. I can drink til the cows come home usually. It's just that red stuff. I'm going to the pub straight after work today (hopefully in about an hour), and I can gaurantee I'll still be drinking and standing (ish) at 3am

Tell you what, if I'm not better in an hour or so, wanna go for that buffet curry lunch and a hair of a dog? I'll even give you a game of pool if you're (un)lucky.

Bus takes nearly an hour anyway - that's why I don't use them!!
The pub's been open 30 mins (90 if you use the White Hart) and I'm still at work. Surely that's not fair. At christmas too. :-(
