anomynous reporting of quetions and answers...
11 Answers
why instead of having questions and answers, deleted anomynously, could when someone wishes to delete a post, they have to write a reason, instead of just ticking a box.. And then the reason and username could be notified to the person having their posts deleted, this would help educate them and also may stop some users with vendettas against certain individuals

jno, people come in under a user name, slag off users for language or smut or whatever. When you do a search on that user name you find they have posted maybe 4,5,6 times. They have no right to come in, slag us off, report us and then return in their usual name.
If I get a telling off from the likes of Whiffey i wouldn't argue back because (however many user names) he will do it in a name we know and has a good reason. End of.
If you get my drift

Because some have a playground mentality and it would be a "Please Miss ...he/she pulled my hair so I'm going to pull theirs back ".. situation all the time . What pleases one offends another ..the same as in the real world and some people just cannot take constructive critisicsm.Lets be fair I don't think that people would dream of saying half of what they say on here in real life .Its the anonimity of it that appeals .
I don't agree with naming and shaming .It would just lead to more aggro in the long run.
A is notified that B has reported them and if A is feeling a bit miffed then B had better watch out !
.....it would be like World War 3 !
The only solution as I see it is 24 hour moderation and more varied report options .
