No, I do not believe in Angels in the sense that I think they are meant here, although I do believe in Angels as represented by the one in JediMistress' story.
Taz.... one can have a satisfying, fullfilling life that is full of awe and amazement at the wonders of the natural world, without ascribing said wonders to the work of some paranormal, supernatural and/or alien being. Nor do I see the world in "black and white".. indeed, most sceptics that I know are almost always likely to see more shades of grey than any believer I have met.
When considering claims of the divine, or the paranormal, or the supernatural, or visiting aliens, or incredible health cures running counter to conventional theory, fairies at the bottom of the garden for that matter, I think that one should always bear in mind the mantra " extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof".... and an argument from personal experience should never be considered proof of anything for a wider audience, even if you yourself are convinced.
Rather ironically, in the context of this post, one of my old schoolfriends is actually a major figure and author in this area.
