depends on your mood - if you are not feeling sociable and may end up being a killjoy, stay in.

for some people, who usually have a houseful of people, having a night in on your own with a vid, a pizza, and a bottle can be bliss

i did the whole invited everyone around, did loads of food (homemade sausage rolls, honey and mustard glazed sausages etc... and home mad hot puff pasty mince pies and brandy butter) followed by a night in a very packed local so having a nice quiet one on my own this year.

Just been to the shop for nibbles and treated myself to a lovely chinese and am happily gonna sit in on my own for a nice cosy warm cheap new years eve :)

Sorry the point was do whatever you feel, if you fancy some company then go but if not then have lovely pampering evening to yourself, you can always join them later if you change your mind :) Enjoy, whatever you do xxx
