How much alcohol do you normally drink?

I mean on week days mainly when you have to work the next day. Do you drink most days?

I don't drink that often at all really.

If I go out to the pub with friends then I'll have a couple of drinks but my main group of friends are more an out to dinner group than in the pub so if anything it'd be some wine with a nice meal.

Again i'll drink on a night out if I fancy it, work do's inc client entertainment etc...rarely drink at home unless I have company, or spend the evening with a friend/boyf and share bottle of wine.

Since Christmas Eve I've drunk far more than normal...

Glass of port with crackers and stilton Christmas Eve.

A noggin of sherry then glass of wine with Christmas dinner, couple of glasses of white wine and lemonade at a family do.

Noggin of sherry then a glass of wine with boxing day lunch. Small whiskey & ginger while watching a film with family.

Couple of glasses of wine with fella over a meal last Thursday.

Shared some bottles of wine and some posh Christmas choccies with a friend Friday night at theirs over a movie.

None since.

Zero on a school night... very rarely might feel like a glass of wine so I'll just have one.

Between 4pm and 10pm last nite I had 4 pints of Guiness and about 6 doubles...and felt like cr@pwhen I went into work this morning

Last night between 6.18 and 1.40 I drank half a 70cl bottle of Vodka with diet pepsi. Got up at 7.30 to take my daughter to the station, i was fine i think.

I always try to reach the recommended 28 units per day ....

4 to 6 pints of real ale, a glass (or 2) of wine with my evening meal & a couple of whiskies during the evening.
Been doing that daily for years now.
Blood pressure etc. is fine and so am I.

BigMac - I think you may find you're overdoing it a bit - I thiught the RDA is 2 - 3 for women and 3 - 4 for men! = -)
