That's a little harsh to call her that... It could be that she has deliberately portrayed herself that way and used cheap makeup in order to stay true to her character (jkind of like Charlize Theron in 'Monster') which actually shows what a great, professional actress she really is.
You never know, with the right makeup she could turn out to be a stunner in real life (just like Charlize).
