Do contact lenses hurt?

I wanted to buy some funky contact lenses for a fancy dress party next week and was wondering what they felt like the first time you wear them?

They don't hurt at all but you shouldn't really go poking things in your eyes unless you need to. (lecture over).

I used to have bright blue ones, I loved them!!!! They do feel wierd at first, and can get a bit dry if you are somewhere smoky or up late. They were fun though. I think you should get some.

I think they are uncomfortable the first time you wear them and getting them in was an absolute nightmare. I would recomment increasing the amount of time you wear them bit by bit.
