Vanity and glasses

I want some fake glasses, as I think they make me look more intelligent and I have some job interviews coming up. I am blonde and quite busty and want to be taken seriously as I have a professional office job. What do you think? Are girls in glasses better?Is this very vain? Is it tempting fate? Where can I get some?

I wear glasses, I dont think it makes the blindest bit of difference. I do not get treated any differently either way. If you really want some though I would just go to the opticians and pick a frame you like.

Please, rely on your professional skills and the way you handle yourself in the interview to get a job, not cheap tacky accessories.

I would not look like a cheap porno star. I have a professional accountancy qualification and am not at all trashy. I just happen to think that glasses make women look more attractive. I also happen to know for a fact that many of the workplaces I have been employed in treat women less seriously than men. If it takes using my qualifications and experience and also wearing glasses, then I am fine with that, shallow as it may be.

i'd go for more business like clothes, suits etc rather than glasses. have your hair cut to a severe style or dye it brown, but i dont think glasses will make a difference.

Maybe because I wear glasses, but if I asked someone about their glasses and they said they were just a fashion accesory to make them look more intelligent, I would genuinely think they were an idiot. People ask me about my glasses/eyesight alot, and I dont have to wear them all the time, so you might have to lie and also if you want nice ones (which are going to set you back about 200 quid) people will want to try them on. They will be able to tell there are no prescription lenses in them... so if you lie, youll sound silly.

I hate wearing glasses but after reading your post I am seeing them in a different light. I will start looking at them as an asset not a hindrance. Hope you get the job you want.

Seriously, though, I wear glasses and I like wearing them, on the occasions when I've worn contacts, I feel a bit vulnerable, so I know what you mean.
