my sister inlaws just text me asking if im out sat night as on monday shes starting a liquid diet to loose weight what does that mean all shell be doing is drinking instead of eating

You can go on various diets with shakes and smoothies and such, usually only longterm for significant weight loss or very short term for a quick fix.

Think slimfast meal replacement shakes.

Just make sure she does it properly and safety, with medical advice preferably, and is not on a dangerous faddy diet which could make her ill etc...

tell her just to be sensible with it, i knew someone who did the same thing and ended up in hospital, she will still need to eat certain foods such as fruit, vegetables etc.
