Is Prince William handsome?

Not sure about handsome, I tend to think that people who are a little out of the ordinary are handsome and the rest are good looking. For example in my opinion Brad Pitt is good looking but Ralph Fiennes is handsome. He has a depth and a quelque chose that Brad just doesn't have. He's the milk chocolate to Ralph's Lindt 70% cocoa if you get my drift.
So Prince William is good looking but not handsome.

drchasuble - now that is an interesting view...I've always looked at it the other way around...you see, I think that Brad Pitt is technically handsome, inasmuch that his features are classically (and in my opinion boringly) proportioned.

I rate 'good looking' above 'handsome' in that respect. Handsome to me has always had bland connotations, whereas good-looking means there's an element of quirkiness about it.

BTW (and I'm not lying here), I once met Ralphy Boy at a gallery opening (his brother Joseph knew the artist). In real life, Ralph is remarkably good-looking.

His brother however, looks like a squirrel that has been taught to walk upright and strategically shaved.

Brad Pitt - as I mentioned before, he doesn't float my boat, and I thought it was pretty creepy when he married a women (Jennifer Aniston) who could easily pass for his sister.

I would also like to add Mr Orlando Bloom to my ever-expanding list of men whom everyone assumes is handsome (like our original subject Prince William) but isn't.

My partner, and practically every young woman I know swoons over him.

1. He looks like an eight year old.
2. He has a head which is exactly the same shape as a fifty pence piece
3. I don't know why I used the word 'swoon' seeing as the last woman who actually did that was Jane Austen when she got her first royalty cheque for Sense and Sensibility.

Sp1814 that is really interesting. What are your views on pretty and beautiful? I think that people like Reese Witherspoon and Kate Winslet are just pretty as they are as you said conventionally attractive whereas someone like Vivien Leigh or Milla Jovovich are beautiful.

Lucky you meeting Ralph. So effing sexy. And I agree that Joseph isn't as attractive and looks like he could do with a good scrub.

I dont think he looks remotely attractive, not even in a classicly handsome way. James Hewitt is a good looking bloke (but definitely not for me) but I really would say there is an element of charles in his looks. Harry is by far the better looking prince, a case of the ugly duckling turning i think.
As for Johnny Depp, its the foppy hair and the chiselled jaw that make him attractive to women, he has good would like to reproduce with you features.
I personally prefer a face to be more interesting. A bent nose and a good hair is all I need really to be looking twice.
