Slimming World is great if you like to fill up on lots of "free foods". They've changed their system recently I think, but you can still do the old way of choosing a red day or a green day. On a red day you can eat as much of certain lean meats, certain veg, salad, fruit etc as you like, and then you have syns (which can be your pastas etc, or crisps, snacks etc). On a green day, you can eat endless amounts of pasta, potatoes, rices, pulses etc, and the same goes with the syns as on a red day. It's quite easy to stick to because your free foods are so varied (depending on whether you've chosen a red day or green day) that you rarely need to use up all your syns (I used to eat free food all week and save my syns for vodka on the weekend). I lost nearly 3 stone on slimming world a couple of years ago. (I've put 2 back on now so must start thinking about which diet or plan to stick to next).
Hope the above helps. If you go to class, your consultant will be able to explain it to you more fully - but go for it! It's well worth a go - try to stay in the class every week as well though, as the support really does encourage you.
Best of luck to you !! Keep us posted of your progress !
