what was the point of you getting them cheap if you didnt need them and didnt know where to sell them?? You are aware the others are right and this is totally illegal?? I wouldnt think its worth messing about with.

oh please is this turning into some kind of political debate? the question is up there, I dont want to know what your opinion is on how bad smoking is for your health. Leave that to the person who decides to light up, Im not a drug pusher for christ's sakes. As for selling of tobacco, pardon me, but every supermarket in this country is doing it so go to your local Morrison's kiosk and lecture them there on the horrible nasty deaths that smoking causes. Give each individual the choice to make.

The pc brigade has arrived-as if the reselling of tobacco wasnt happening in the UK, what is this a taboo subject? Or you gonna tell me that you dont know anyone that does it? Look if the cost of a packet of fags wasnt �5.50 in the UK then we wouldnt have to go abroad to get them cheap. Simple as, if you dont like it, its nothing to do with you!

have you tried at work filthiestfis (gawd thats a name and a half lol) folks at my work always bring em back off their hols, have you asked folks at school (assuming you go to school to pick up kids) or as ummmm says try your local pub.

I buy cheap bacca all the time, Im ******** if im paying the price in the shops. Pity its fags you have and not golden virginia, I would have had some off ya ;)

Im just wondering how many folks in this thread can put their hand on their heart and say they have never bought owt cheap. for example on the market or car boot sales I often buy stuff that says 'bulk pack only not for resale as a single item' I have also bought cheap copies of clothes and such like. Thats illegal too but cos its not bad for your health no one seems to worry about it.

My recent ex-boyfriend came back from Dubai on Monday and he'd bought loads of cigarettes cheap so that he could flog them over here. Thankfully they were picked up through customs and in his bad temper he smashed his newly purchased watch on the table and broke it.

Pixi, I saw a programme a while ago where the presenters wanted to see how honest Joe Public is. They set up a car boot stall and sold goods and made sure they told would-be purchasers that the goods were hooky, and every single one of them still went ahead and bought them! It doesn't deter people at all.

So far this year I have gone through 100 fags that a mate gave me from Egypt and a 2 oz pouch of tobacco which cost me a fiver. If I'd been paying shop prices which I did today, it would have cost me �2.60 a day or �49.40 this year so far! The prices here are scandelous, as I mentioned in a previous post, the government should be doing more to get people to start that way they could afford to bring the tax on ciggarettes down.
