no such thing
No....I believe in God though
me too, i believe we all have guardian angels.
Well, I believe in them but then I think I have seen some!! It could just be my very vivid imagination, but I like to think that there might be something out there, so to speak, so it kinda suits me to believe!!
No

Because i don't, its all imaginary stuff, you either believe or not, maybe someone close has died, so you want to believe, i don't believe in clairvoyents neither, i think they play on peoples emotions, they have a set of questions in their head, where eventually, your say ''thats right'' to one of these questions, then it goes onto the next level of questioning specific to the one you said ''thats right'' to.

Saying that, its what people want to believe that counts, if you believe, thats fine, i just don't
Ghosts as in "whhhhoooooo" wearing white sheets, definitely not!
Spirits as in Our souls living on on another plane, yes, definitely!
I have heard too many things over the years with my Mum being a spiritual healer and having been to a medium myself who was incredibly accurate, i am pretty convinced there is something beyond this world other than what we can see. BTW when i went to the medium, i was very sceptical but she was good, and told me stuff even i had forgotten.. I have also been to a couple that weren't any good at all though but i think thats just the nature of the subject, you get some fakes, thats inevitable.
I don't believe in them because I've never seen one. Bit simplistic, I know.
Yes I Do have had a ghostly experience, mum and brothers sw same one in house we lived in as kids.

Most Haunted, surely this programme can't be wrong????(not)
Yes, I do. I've seen one, and so have both my sons. It terrified the eldest (then 5), and we didn't think the youngest could see it, but he told me a couple of years ago that he did, but never said anything because (he was only 3 at the time) he thought it was normal. It didn't frighten me - just annoyed me, because it would steal and hide stuff (it had a 'thing' about saucepan lids), and switch on the kettle/toaster/hob when no-one else was near enough to have done it.

Interesting thing is, we found out later that the first owner of the house, in the 1920s, had a nervous breakdown and committed suicide there.
i never used to, but have seen and heard things, that could never be explained, so do now
Whats the difference between seeing an apparition such as a ghost or having hallucinations when mentally disturbed?
well i believe because we live with two.A couple of old dears that have saved our lives and we caught them on video camera on xmas eve.also they have a liking for one of our dogs and every time we take a photo of him in the house two orbs appear next to him. They also made the previous occupants of this cottage leave because they didn't like what they were doing to it.Believe me or not but we have evidence on camera and the way our animals react to nothingness tells us something is afoot.
I'm a believer....no, I'm not going to sing a song.
I've had too many unexplained events around me not to. I've gone into them in other posts.
On most haunted once - the one on the boat, richard the historian was asleep in a cabin and there was clearly a voice of a girl that said 'mummy'. It sent a shiver up my spine. Was that real, if not how could it be explained?
p.s. I'm not talking specifically about ghosts as such, more like presences, or whatever they're called.
mountainboo....I think you have to take MH with a generous pinch of salt...
A load of codswallop!!!! more to the point!! why should I believe in ghosts?? I have never seen anything that would convince me in the slightest
I have always believed that nothing and nothing makes nothing. If there is no such thing as ghosts, presence's, dopplegangers etc, there would be no words to describe them. Just because some of you have never seen or had ghostly/spirits experience, does not mean that they dont exist.
It's an interesting topic and I will admit I was sceptical but open minded until we moved into this cottage. How can you explain clocks changing time, computer printer being switched on and off dvd playing when you haven't been near it for a week.lights going on when you aren't home. Cupboard doors being opened when you are in the room abut nowhere near it and it doesn't open anyway. The dogs growling or wagging their tails at thin air.The infamous footsteps down the hall pipe smoke smell coming from another room. and then there was the voices warning us that our gas boiler was on fire in another part of the cottage. And now the xmas eve camera capture. I almost want Most Haunted to get their butts here.
schumi - what exactly did you capture on film?

I say I don't believe 'cause I've never seen one - but I would like to see one!
