I'm having an eye test on Wednesday and am pretty convinced I'm going to need glasses. Do they use some sort of system to tell you which style suits you?
Apologies milly143 but I had to laugh at dot.hawkes quick wit. My optician spent a lot of time encouraging me to try different styles before I decided, his theory being I was an advert for his service. Take a friend or loved one for a second opinion if you really not sure.
All joking aside, get some advice from the optician, but take someone with you whose judgement you strust. If you are not sure, shop around - you don't have to have your specs from the optician who tested you, you can take your prescription to any optician who will dispense for you, so have a look around a few dealers bfore you decide.
Well I did go to specsavers and I hate my glasses. I wanted small-ish lenses but I feel like I am looking through a window all the time. I have had them 2yrs now and due for an eye test. I dread having to go through the choosing of glasses all over again.
