I am not sure I could recommend that line of work to anybody. The world of medicine is so riddled with pettiness and personal politics that a medical secretary would want to train in using a pickaxe and hatchet as prelude sometimes to seekig such work.
A European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) should be a basic first step here and obviously familiarity with medical terms, which would only come through experience and not training. Be prepared to learn. Good luck.
