concern for fellow members

As this is a body and soul topic I thought I might like to ask how many of you feel a deep worry for a sick fellow member, like Jenna for instance, and how many of you don't and report questions posted out of concern?

So what's the alternative then Crete? Do we run posts past the AB police to make sure that they are not about us, or fun, or chat, or nasty to anyone we don't like ( possibly with good reason)? Who the hell chooses whose worthy? This place is rapidly making me sick.

I do hope Jenna is ok. I have never felt that Jennas posts are all about her at all ~ her input on the site has been well varied. She has sought professional advice as well as ask Qs here, I am sure most would agree that it can be a bit more personal on here as a lot of GPs and consultants bedside manner leave a lot to be desired!

To be honest I see most posts as 'whatever gets you through the day' and don't have a problem with them at all.

It is very strange.

When crete first arrived I am pretty sure most of her posts were blunt, sarcastic or vitriolic. However when a Q is posted about someones sex life we get the 'no need for that' answers. And medical Qs? they get 'see a doctor, don't come here' attitude.

I haven't had much of a problem with crete ~ in the main I have got on as well with her as I have anyone else. However I know she has crossed swords with others, some I consider pals. I don't need to defend them..even though I would do so in a hearbeat if they weren't so darned strong enough to cope by themselves :o)

I don't often feel a deep worry for anyone on here (well I wonder about the sanity levels but I rarely worry about it). If I do then generally I have that persons contact details outside of AB and will find out that way.

I'm not sure if that's hard hearted or not but it's just the way I am.

That said... I wouldn't report a question asking about someone but I may not partake in it if I am not concerned (or indeed never read it). I
