Have you studied all forms of religious art then, Ray, to back up this theory?
Anyway, maybe Renaissance artists were just STOOPID and painted the models as they looked in front of them! Or maybe the church at the time dictated that Adam & Eve looked like circus freaks without belly buttons. Stranger things have happened.

Good luck champers, in my job as curator of antiquities and fine art at the royal acadamy of neo-classical fine art I have yet to come across such a thing, I have travelled the world in pursuit of such a painting, many have tried to trick me but I am an expert in this field, oh nursies calling time for my tablets, bye xx
