Other languages?

I speak fluent English and Polish but I was born there so it's not surprising. What other languages do you speak and how well do you speak them?

Dabbled in Russian a few years ago, but had to give up as my son became ill and I couldn't devote the time. It was really also too difficult for me anyway. Pronunciation was OK, but couldn't get my head around the writing at all. grrrrrrr! But I do love the way they drink their Vodka!! :o)
SPANISH, pretty fluent. My ex husband is part Spanish and his family in Madrid did not speak any English at all. We spent a lot of time over there (his uncle had won 'el gordo' the lottery and is a millionaire) so unless I wanted to feel like a mute idiot, I decided I needed to learn quickly. They were all duly impressed.
We are divorced now but it was something very good to have come out of the relationship.

I speak English, Urdu and Punjabi fluently. I can speak Spanish reasonably well - I'm studying it at A Level. I can curse quite well in French and Polish. And I can say a few words in Japanese because I once watched half an hour of a "Learn Japanese" program that was on in the early hours in the morning.
Did French, German and Italian for a year at uni and Spanish A Level, bit rusty but not too bad. Lived with some italian and french people recently which was a good refresher. Friench is probably my strongest as worked there a bit.
Did a basic courses in welsh, russian and sign language a while back and learnt some romanian before I went out there to do some work. Picked up a bit of greek as was housed with a load of greek guys for a bit at uni.
Welsh was helped by working locally in a very welsh speaking area and playing for a darts team who were all fluent in welsh, in fact i was probably one of if not the only one in the league not fluent. Some matches were in the welsh speaking only pubs so had to pick it up quick.
Love languages and should really get back to them.

Picked up some Spanish in Barcelona.. no Catalan though. Count to 5 in welsh and know how to say I'm full aswell. 'Hello' in japanese. Completely fluent in rubbish too!
