When asked a question, have you ever given a stupid answer (not on here) and it been taken seriously?

I was once asked out for Sunday lunch by a man I wasn't keen on, so said 'no, but I fancy going to Barcelona for the weekend'.
The next day he produced flight tickets and hotel reservation!

Yea....same happened to me. I was going out with someone, fairly casual and he asked me do I like theme parks. I said only the ones in America and he booked a two week holiday to disneyland.

No I didn't go....I dumped him

Yes, but as we fell out in the car on the way to the airport, I didnt see the sense in staying in the same room!
Had to see him again on the flight back, oops!
Fab city though, if you havent been you should go (that's a statement not an offer!!).
