As some of you know i'm pregnant.
I was on the train this morning (standing), which took FOREVER to pull in...even though it's one stop.
As we finally approached Baker Street my ears became blocked, i couldnt hear anything, then all my vision went white and blury!!!
Then the train stopped and i could hardly see myself stepping off...then i could just about see a bench in the oppostie direction to the exit and sat on that for a bit.
I started sweating and everything..really scary!
Is this common during pregnancy? :o(

You may have had low blood sugar..did you eat breakfast this morning? make sure you are eating & drinking enough, hun :o) Your blood pressure may have been raised or lowered too..
I don't like diagnosing..I would follow ummmm's advice and ring the midwife to put your mind at rest. Take care!

you were lucky to get to the benh. I have fainted in so many awkward places. School, Pub, Argos, Museums and I can never make It to a bench and end up making a right fool out of myself. Im not sure whether its because you are pregnant, more than likely but I couldnt tell you myself. Maybe you have low iron at the moment.

nat,
as previously said, have a word with your midwife later. It does happen at times, oh the joys of pregnancy, but they will be able to check you over. Have you had any blood tests yet, going from memory they may be around 16 weeks. You could have an iron deficiency or it could be low BP but best to have a word anyway.
The railways do have a scheme whereby mums to be can have a badge to wear so others know you are pregnant. It may get other to offer you a seat or at least help you if you feel faint again. I shall see if i can find any details.

Hi, Nat-84, I fainted a couple of times when I was pregnant, usually when i had missed breakfast, been standing around for a long period or rushing around. I'm glad you're getting yourself checked out, hope those igmorant people on the train are proud of themselves! Take care, hope you soon feeling better.
Thanks everyone, just read up about it. Apparently during the 2nd tri its not unusual...(great...)
I think it is due to blood pressure.
I usually eat brekkie when i get to work and luckily my boyfriends kind enough to drive me in on most days. But days like today he has an early start so i jump on the tube.
Possibly my inner nerves also playing apart due to my meeting with the midwife and my first scan today.
