I recently had to take senokot as I was constipated. The instructions said take two tablets every 24 hours.
In my discomfort I misread this and took two every twelve hours. I did this for three days. I stopped two days ago when I realised my error.

I feel fine but am a bit worried. Could this cause any knock on effects????

my mum said i should try and avoid taking it too often as they can make your muscles which push everything along (sorry about the detail) get lazy and you can come reliant, they are herbal so i wouldnt think they could do you too much harm in the long run (dont quote me on that) but you might just have a bad tummy for bit (that happened to me when i took 2 senna max instead of one!) but i think you will be fine!
