Over the past few months I have been having tense headaches in that the top of my head feels pressurised and even more so if I move my head, (sometimes I feel a bit light headed) they tend to come on mid afternnon and will last until I go to sleep. More recently I have noticed that when I lie down in bed at night I can feel like a pulsating noise in my right ear and now I have earache in that ear. I will make an appointment at the doctors but any suggestions as to whether this may be connected and what the problem may be?? TIA.

This might be totally irrelevant, but could it be partly due to dehydration? Drink lots of water. Don't know about the ear thing..but still definitely don't put off seeing your docor any longer! Also, with the previous experience i have had with doctors involving headaches and dizziness, if you don't feel they have really taken you seriously then get a second opinion... it potentially could be anything; serious or minor - get it checked asap! Good luck.x
it could also be sinus trouble (speaking of someone who has her fair share over the years). I you have had a cold recently and if you can take something like SINUTAB, give it a go, it also sounds la bit like nueralga. both my partner and i had heavy colds before Xmas and we have both had annoying earache ever since, so i do understand, in fact there have been quite a few earache questions to AB this week - we are not alone!
take care and i hope you feel better soon x
You need glasses
I also had bad earache and also dizzy spells when I lay in bed. I went to the chemist and they said it was due to having a severe case of the flu, they gave me ceremol which helps to clear any blockages and I havent been bothered since.
